The Challenge

904WARD is a nonprofit creating racial healing and equity with a vision to end racism in Jacksonville. The organization needed a video to introduce the organization and its purpose, mission and work to the community at events and virtually.

The Solution

Point Taken concepted, scripted, storyboarded, shot, edited and produced an 8-minute overview video to showcase the mission of 904WARD to donors, volunteers and the community at-large. To illustrate the involvement of notable community members in 904WARD’s work, the video featured interviews with prominent local leaders and 904WARD leadership. The video also included information about racism, both historic and modern, in Northeast Florida, and discussion of how 904WARD is working to combat this and build a more inclusive community. Point Taken then worked with 904WARD to promote the video to local media and other stakeholders.

The Result

904WARD continues to use the video in a variety of ways with the support of Point Taken. To date, the video has been viewed by thousands of stakeholders and interested community members at numerous in-person and virtual events and via social media. Point Taken continues to use the video to support media relations efforts.
